Bow and arrow in leon valley (San Antonio) Texas?

Okay, so i called the police department and i asked them if attacked by an animal in the woods (i like to explore areas especially wooded ones because i love middle ages and it makes me feel amazingly at peace) if i am able to use my bow and arrow because some others informed me there are hogs spotted there, The jerk of an officer in the background said "Dont carry a bow and dont go out there" but the one i was on the phone with "No sir you cant use it", so what: am i just supposed to get attacked/killed? I carry an swiss army knife since its a non locked knife and its 2 1/2 inches long and i dont think i want to get close to a hog or whatever else is out there with that kind of knife. Am I able to defend myself with my longbow and arrow? And can i walk around with it without an arrow on the strong or out?

Looking for some favorite foods in the san antonio area?

I am fairly new to the san antonio area, i used to live in the valley, i am looking for some favorites like tamales-barbacoa--and bakery items. I loved to go to De Albas bakery for sweet bread and barbacoa (the best and cleanest barbacoa) in mcallen and Delias tamales (the best) in pharr. If anyone knows where i can find these items in san antonio would appreciate ti know where. Thank you.
