Everyone has told me it's a really nice wine and had it years ago and remember it was nice but got a bottle a few days ago and it's nice but not as nice as some other cheaper rioja wines I've had. Tastes slightly vinegary when I opened it and tried it and now a few days later still tastes just as vinegery? Not as smooth and deep as other rioja wines I've tasted? By the way, don't want to sound too artsy fartsy as I know sweet f all about wine, lol. By the way, how long will a red wine "hold" once opened but recapped? Thanks.

Apparently was given to a family member by the King of Spain. The bottle has a wax seal with a stamp that has a crown atop another symbol. The bottle itself is wrapped in very fine brass wire and the neck of the bottle is wrapped in a wax cap. If anyone knows anything about this wine we would greatly appreciate any info. Thanks in advance!
