Can someone explain what is occuring to me (musical wine glasses)?

I'm presenting my science fair project tomorrow, and i just discovered something. When I play two of the same wine glasses at the same time, they kind of create a larger pitched sound. What is happening when I do this? Thanks for your answer!

Why did Jesus allegedly turn perfectly good healthy water into wine?

Sand it to water - fair play and can see the point. But water into an intoxicating substance - bit or a no brainier that one! To all those that said, how do you know water was a good health drink and it was not pure then so wine was safer to drink? As others have pointed out, then in that case why did he not just make all the water the pure to drink? Much more suitable use of a 'talent'. Considering that God is alledged to own your bodies and that you should keep them pure etc having a good p*** up which causes liver dammage is hardly consistant with that requirement. As God is alleged to see all and know all then he must have know that liver damage from alcohol could occure. Smeone has alleged powers to chance things for the good of man and choose to make wine! What about the invention of sevage systems for instance? That would be a worthy thing to do back then. And why did his mother ask him to make more wine? Was she alcohol dependant?

Wine sweetness - ranking?

Hi All, I am wondering if anyone can help or point me in the direction to find the sweeter wines, not necessarily a brand of wine but more the type. For example the sweetest of the reds would be a Shiraz followed by the pinotage then by the cabonate. I've had a fair few different years and brands but cannot seem to find a consistency. Some time ago I had a Boschendal 2006 cabernet Sauvignon which i really enjoyed, then more recently I had a 2003 which I didn't enjoy as much. Would the year play apart in this? I don't classify myself as a pro wine drinker, but any help would be great. thank you.

I'm doing a science fair project that involves sound?

I need some help. I'm doing a physics science fair project in which i observe the different sounds created when i make music with a wine glass. I need a program that is free that will show me the waves of the sound produced from the music i play. For each trial i record the sound made onto my computer, and i can play the sound in windows media player. There is just no way that i can draw or see the waves without some sort of program to show me. I see these kinda programs all the time, ones that show those curvy waves when music is being played. Any suggestions?
