Cupid Wears A Mask
Angelic cherub
with face so devin.
Plump dimpled cheeks,
flushed roses and wine
Smooth satin locks
gold, flaxen curls.
lusterous wings
favoring mother of pearl
You float through our lives
piercing with darts
desolate sadness
percieved in our hearts.
You fill us with warmth,
with love, and with joy,
but sometimes I wonder
If we're only your toy.
It seems that's a mask
you wear o'er your face.
Are there horns under there?
Is your facade a disgrace?
For the love you bestow,
does soon fade away.
do you do this on purpose,
is this a game that you play?
In love and then out.
You stab at our hearts
you mess up our lives
with your mischevious art.
You malicious little Imp
Have you nothing better to do?
Can't you for once,
aim straight and aim true?

Ok, thank you to everyone who has read my story and your comments. This is the last part of my story that i have written i want to write it into a book but i am young and am not sure how to do so. But please enjoy and post your comments and constructive criticizm.
(continued...)
My face must have shown something completely different from how I felt because Aunt Nina said, “You aren’t seriously thinking of going are you?”
“I.…I don’t know.” I said shyly. As much as I hated my father for what he did I still was anxious to meet my real father. The man my mother fell in love with, the man who couldn’t stop smiling after I was born as my mother would tell me.
“Devin?” Nina seemed hurt.
“Well it’s just…I just kinda wanted to….um well…you know,” I didn’t know how to explain my reasoning. “I want to know my real father.”
“And by real you mean?”
“The man my mom fell in love with, the man before he became a drunk.”
Her face changed, it seemed worried, “I’m sorry.” I said sheepishly.
She crouched down next to me and hugged me. Nina let out a long sigh then said, “I guess I can’t be mad at you for feeling that way.”
“Really?” I asked a little shocked. One minute Nina was furious at the thought of me going to live with my father and now she was consoling me!
“Yes, you were always the curious and brave one. Curious enough to meet the man your mother knew and brave enough to live with him again after what happened. I admire your strength but I just am worried about you…… you’re the only one I have.” She said she looked on the verge of crying her eyes out.
I felt horrible for feeling the way I felt. I knew I was all she had and it feels cruel to leave her out of my own curiosity.
“I know and I love you so much and am thankful for all that you have done for me, really.” I wanted her to know I cared and that it wasn’t easy for me to choose between her and my father.
“I know,” she sighed, “just think about for a while, if you jump into something to fast you may regret it.”
“I know,” I said remembering three years ago when Nina had been dating a guy named Mike, on the outside he was as kind as can be but like my father he held a dark secret. Mike was a killer who escaped from South America, he had come to the US to get away and he met my aunt. He had a thing for killing tall and beautiful brunettes like her. They were having a romantic dinner in our apartment when he attacked her and most nearly suffocated her. Thankfully, he thought I was at my friend’s house who conveniently had to cancel, I ran into the room and jumped on his back. He let go of Nina and turned to hit me but Nina got to him first hitting in the head with the wine bottle. It broke spraying red wine all over us and it stained the white carpet a violent shade of red that it almost could be mistaken for blood.
I was only ten when this occurred and after that incident Nina vowed she would never trust anyone that quickly. One week later we moved across the country from Los Angeles, California to Knoxville, Tennessee. That was a major leap for the both of us but we adjusted quickly.
We have lived here for three years now; I am now 13 going on 14 in December. All my life I have moved from one area to the next from Pennsylvania to California to Tennessee to possibly North Carolina, all of it just seems like too much.
I have never been the one standout and meet new people easily. I was very shy and I shake when I am around a lot of people. I feel trapped. Even after 3 years I have only made one friend and even that relationship isn’t very close.
So this is the last of what i have written please comment thank you!!!!

After the disappointing elimination loss to the old, but yet very talented Boston Celtics squad. Lebron James now is faced with the most popular question in sports, "Where to now?" I wanted to know what the people thought. I don't care if you have a source or no source at all. I just want your opinion and if possible bring some fact to your statement; only if you have the source to back it up!
Will the "King" go to...
MIAMI HEAT (Miami, Florida)
Miami seems to be the best choice for Lebron right now, as for talent wise. The main problems will be that James will have to get paid less and he will have to come aboard another stars team. Yet their is a higher chance of Lebron wining a championship with the heat, along side future hall of fame player Dwyane Wade. If Dwyane Wade was to stay in Miami and Pat Riley was to strike the deal with Lebron, the Miami Heat franchise may have a new NBA dynasty in-hand. Now their are specters that say that, "It cant work out! They are too big of stars to share one team." Others disagree they feel that, "if they were able to submit in Beijing, China for the Olympics they could do it again. Because at the end Lebron and Wade want what's most dear to them. Which is the NBA Championship." Lebron just has to face facts in the last 30 years only one team with one star was able to win the championship. Which was Hakeem Olajuwon and the 1994 Houston Rockets, who beat another team in the Finals, Patrick Ewing's New York Knicks, that featured just one star. Look history is clear: It takes two, at least! MJ never won it without Scottie, Magic and Oscar never won it without Kareem, Bird never won it without Parish and McHale, Jerry West never won it without Wilt, Dr. J never won it without Moses Malone, and Kobe and D-Wade never won it without Shaq and/or Pau.
NEW JERSEY NETS/ BROOKLYN NETS (Newark, New Jersey or Brooklyn, New York)
Believe it or not, the New Jersey Nets are a viable option for a James-Wade tandem. The lowly franchise has between $21 and $25 million in cap space for 2010. They have developing pieces in Devin Harris, Courtney Lee and Brook Lopez. And they’ll get a top draft pick next June. The real key is New Jersey’s new owner Mikhail Prokhorov - also known as Russia’s richest man. Prokhorov, with a net worth of $9-12 billion, has already secured funding for that controversial arena project in Brooklyn, New York. There are two reasons the former oligarch would splurge on max contracts for James and Wade. First, Prokhorov, an 'Alpha Male', likes to win. Second, with two of the game’s biggest attractions, he could charge any amount for season tickets and luxury boxes when the team moves into their Brooklyn digs. In, my opinion the Nets need more then James to make a move to serious championship contenders, because if not they are just going to be another Cleveland Cavaliers.
NEW YORK KNICKS (Manhattan, New York City, New York)
Despite the cards Cleveland holds, some still see New York as King James' destiny. And they might have a leg to stand on, thanks to LeBron himself, as he has become the master of the mixed message. That was heard again most recently in his interview with ESPN's Rachel Nichols, in which he avoided the opportunity to express loyalty to Cleveland and pointedly said his heart was in his hometown of Akron.Right now the obvious problem for New York is that the roster has massive holes, to say the least. But Walsh can point out two other things to LeBron: The Cavs roster will have its own serious issues going forward, and the Knicks have ways to improve dramatically.
CLEVELAND CAVALIERS (Cleveland, Ohio)
You should know what's up in Cleveland...
CHICAGO BULLS (Chicago, Illinois)
Chicago has gained momentum. It makes the most basketball sense. Don’t buy the “he needs to create a legacy in his own city” claim. People have short memories. Playing under the retired jerseys in LA has not hurt Kobe. Chicago also makes the most basketball sense. If they include Deng as part of a sign and trade, that gives the Bulls a nucleus of LeBron, Rose and Noah with the cap room to go after another max guy. Title Contenders. There’s no timetable for a new coach. LeBron could choose him. Vaccarro, long known as the most powerful man in amateur basketball and the godfather of lucrative shoe contracts before he retired, said Thursday he believes the Chicago Bulls have a chance to land James, as well as coach John Calipari. "I think there is a shot. Legitimate? Sure," Vaccaro said on "The Waddle & Silvy Show" on ESPN 1000. "I think that all people would be very interested.
LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS (Los Angeles, California)
Why not, writes Monroe, because Los Angeles has all of the intangibles James would want in a new team. The Clippers share Staples Center with the Lakers as a home base and have built a new practice facility with all the bells, whistles and
