here is the question:
To grown your Baco noir grapes you will be grafting vine cuttings. Answer the following questions:
1) to graft your Baco noir cuttings you choose one of the three North American rootstocks: Riparia, Rupestris, or Berlandieri. Why?
2) you are using a North American rootstock to prevent what almost happened to European vineyards in the 1870s. What event was this?

i am reading the magnotta wine catalogue. it staties that the wines are aged partially in french and american oak for 6-12 months and bottle aged for atleast 3 months. however the years identified are for eg
2006 baco noir BA
2008 Pinot Gris
2005 Marechal Foch
the latest year is 2008. so these must be any where between 2-5 years old. Thier earlier statemetn does not match with the year.
i dont understand how the dating works for wines. can some one clarify it.
